This policy covers thecluacademy.com and courses.thecluacademy.com. They're run by CLU LLC, doing business as The CLU Studio and The CLU Academy, 48 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005. Questions go to support@thecluacademy.com.

What We Collect‍

When you buy a course: your name and email. Your card details go straight to our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
When you take a course: your progress, quiz and test answers, and anything you write in the reflection exercises. We use this to track your completion and issue your certificate.
Your certificate: your name, the course, the hours and the date you finished.
When you email us or fill out a survey: what you send us.
When you visit the site: standard usage data, like pages viewed, device and browser type, and roughly where you are (city or state, not your address). This comes from cookies, explained below.

How We Use It

To give you access to your course and issue your certificate
To send you emails about your purchase and your course
To send you occasional emails about our other courses. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To answer you when you contact us
To understand how people use the site and improve it
To show our ads to people who've visited the site (see Advertising)

We don't sell your information. We don't share your reflection answers with anyone.

Cookies and Advertising
We use cookies to see how people use the site and to measure our ads.We use Google Ads remarketing. That means third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads on other websites after you visit ours. They use cookies to show you ads based on your past visits to this site.To opt out of Google's use of cookies for ads, go to Google's Ad Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. To opt out of other vendors' use of cookies, go to the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page at https://optout.networkadvertising.org. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How Long We Keep It
We keep your account and completion record for at least six years, so you can get a copy of your certificate for as long as Michigan asks you to keep it. We keep payment records as long as tax law requires.

Your Choices
You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it or delete it. Email support@thecluacademy.com. If you ask us to delete your account, we can't reissue your certificate afterward, so download a copy first.

Kids
Our courses are for licensed professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
